4. Documentation

The fields under this heading should be organized according to the needs of the museum. They will be completed at the next meetings of the six pilot museums, but the following fields have already been retained:

This section should permit the retrieval of documents concerning the object (bibliography on the object or linked to the object, photographs, audio-visual documents, field notebooks, restoration notebooks, etc.). Each museum should organize its documentation according to its needs but the references for this documentation should be standardized to facilitate research.
