Synopsis The book brings together the papers presented at the 2008 annual meeting of ICR in Pittsburgh and Johnston. Participants were asked to examine three questions: What strategies must regional museums adopt to thrive in a global economy? How do regional museums increase community involvement while documenting, collecting, preserving and interpreting changing cultural and physical landscapes? What is the future of regional museums?
