RésuméThe book brings together the papers presented at the 2008 annual meeting of ICR in Pittsburgh and Johnston. Participants were asked to examine three questions: What strategies must regional museums adopt to thrive in a global economy? How do regional museums increase community involvement while documenting, collecting, preserving and interpreting changing cultural and physical landscapes? What is the future of regional museums? The papers fall into three general categories: sustainability; successes and challenges; the future of regional museums.
