The Working Group on Statutes has been created in 2011 in order to reflect on possible modifications and improvement on ICOM Statutes.

Members of the Group are appointed by ICOM President to analyse, and if necessary to propose some revisions to the Statutes in compliance with French law to the Executive Council at the end of 2012.

The objectives of the Working Group on Statutes are as follows:

  • Study and review ICOM Statutes ;
  • Propose possible modifications whether on content, form or translation considered appropriate to the text ;
  • Make any recommendation on the implementation of ICOM Statutes.
