ICOM Information Centre
The ICOM Information Centre was created in 1946 and is managed by the ICOM Secretariat.
Collections held at ICOM headquarters
The collections consist of the publications issued by ICOM, its Committees and Regional Alliances. In addition, the Centre holds national legislative documents on the protection of cultural heritage, international and national museum directories, illicit traffic-related publications and reports, as well as publications on endangered heritage in emergency situations.
More than 4,200 references are indexed in the online ICOM Publications database.
Access to the ICOM Information Centre
The ICOM Information Centre is open to the public from Monday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm, by appointment. It is situated in the UNESCO Building, 1 rue Miollis – 75732 Paris CEDEX 15 (France).

The Documentation Unit is located at 6 rue des Pyramides – 75041 Paris cedex 01 (France).
Monographs, museology periodicals and museum catalogues housed in the Documentation Unit (Unité de documentation) of the Direction générale des patrimoines – Service des musées de France are available for consultation.
