Museum International<\/em>\u00a0is ICOM\u2019s peer-reviewed journal, which promotes the exchange of expertise and knowledge in the museums and heritage field on an international level. The journal aims to foster knowledge-sharing and provoke debate through interdisciplinary research and best practices for the protection of heritage in a fast-changing world. Dictionary of Museology<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The French edition of this reference book is jointly published by Armand Colin (Dunod) and ICOM, and edited by Fran\u00e7ois Mairesse. It covers the following aspects of the museum profession and museum studies: exhibition, research methods, collections management and conservation\/restoration, museum education and mediation, management\/marketing, history and critical analysis of the museum.<\/p>\n

The Dictionary of Museology is the product of several years of research and contributions by an international team of experts and authors. More than 1,200 entries analyse and contextualise terms used in the museum field, from the most academic (exhibition, artefact, intangible heritage, cabinet of curiosity) to the most contemporary (NFT, memory spots, cybermuseum\u2026).<\/p>\n
