The Advisory Council is the consulting body of ICOM. It consists of the Chairpersons (or their representatives) of National and International Committees, Regional Alliances, and Affiliated Organisations.<\/h2>\n

The Advisory Council advises the Executive Board and the General Assembly in the general interest of ICOM on matters concerning the policies, programmes, procedures and finances of ICOM.<\/p>\n

Yvonne Ploum<\/strong> (Netherlands) and Eunice B\u00e1ez S\u00e1nchez<\/strong> (Costa Rica) currently serve as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Advisory Council. They were elected during the 99th Session of the Advisory Council, which took place as part of the 27th ICOM General Conference in Dubai.<\/p>\n
