Synopsis: The René and Odette Delenne collection of African art will be on display for the first time in the United States at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The objects in the Delenne collection include a Songye 'nkishi' figure. The curator in charge of the exhibition asked for a deeper examination of the sculpture to establish a foundation for future analysis of other similar Songye figures.
