Synopsis: CIMCIM has published in October in an electronic format its 2013 issue. The bulletin presents the minutes of the CIMCIM General Assembly (p. 14-15) held on 26th July, 2013 during CIMCIM annual meeting which was held in Oxford (UK) from 25 to 29 July, 2013. The overall theme of the meeting was: Musical Instruments – History, Science and Culture. The Galpin Society generously opened its annual conference to include CIMCIM meeting. The Reports section of the bulletin presents the panel session "New Media for Musical Instrument Collections: Trend, Luxury or Necessity?" that took place during the last day of the joint conference of CIMCIM and the Galpin Society Making the Tudor Viol Project (p. 4-7). CIMCIM wishes to initiate a reflection upon organology and invites members to send their thoughts on the subject. Pages 8-11 already offer papers by Heike Fricke, Arnold Myers and Sabine Klaus. The bulletin also includes information concerning the 2014 CIMCIM conference to be held in the Nordic countries on Collectors at Music Museums – Reasons and Means. The last pages are dedicated to news concerning exhibitions, conferences, new books of interest to the members.
