The 21st issue of the International Journal of Intangible Heritage was published in May.
In the context of our partnership with the journal, we are sharing an article from this issue entitled ‘Museums and intangible cultural heritage: a memoir and a meditation’, written by Alissandra Cummins, former president of ICOM and an honorary member of the organisation. In this article, she reflects on ICOM’s role in the recognition of intangible heritage, looking back on her time as President.
