We are deeply saddened by the passing of Cristina Vannini, archaeologist, museologist and internationally recognised expert in museum studies and cultural heritage.
Through her work as a consultant, educator and leader within ICOM and the wider international museum community, she made a significant contribution to the development of museology and cultural projects. Elected Chair of INTERCOM in 2025, she leaves a lasting legacy. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.
