ICOM Define – Committee for the Museum Definition

ICOM Define now continues its mission of serving ICOM in the implementation of the definition, seeking to establish it as a baseline for our organization. Our upcoming steps include the following:

- Supporting Committees in the communication, implementation and translation of the museum definition

- Integrating the museum definition into ICOM’s Strategic Plan, Communications Strategy and Training Programs

- Working closely with UNESCO and other institutions to communicate and assess the impact of the museum definition

- Observing museum practice and analyzing specific case studies
