On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Red Lists, the Heritage Protection Department at the ICOM Secretariat has launched a survey to measure the impact of these tools.
ICOM wants to gain deeper insights into how these tools are used, who uses them, and to inform the next phase also in the digital sphere.
Whether you’ve used a Red List once or many times—or were involved in their creation—we value your input. The survey will take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete.
The deadline to submit is 8 December 2025.
We are keen to hear from all stakeholders of the Red Lists, such as past Red List coordinators, museum professionals, provenance researchers, law enforcement, experts in illicit trafficking, art market professionals, and others.
Help shape the future of the ICOM Red List now and continue your commitment to the protection of cultural heritage!
