Network ICOM-IMREC offers ICOM members 10 Fully Funded Scholarships for Master’s Degrees in Cultural Heritage

In a groundbreaking initiative, the ICOM International Museum Research and Exchange Centre (ICOM-IMREC) will offer 10 fully funded scholarships exclusively for ICOM members. These scholarships are designed to support passionate individuals in pursuing their Master’s Degree within the esteemed School of Cultural Heritage and Information Management at Shanghai University.

The collaboration aims to foster academic excellence and promote international cooperation in the field of cultural heritage. Successful applicants will have the unique opportunity to engage in a comprehensive 3-year Master’s program that encompasses cutting-edge research, practical skills, and a global perspective on cultural heritage and information management.

  • Full Funding: each scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses for the entire duration of the 3-year Master’s program.
  • ICOM Membership Requirement: the scholarships are exclusively available to ICOM members, reinforcing the commitment to supporting professionals within the global museum community.
  • Selection Process: the Academic and Programming Board of IMREC will meticulously review and select scholarship recipients based on academic merit, relevant experience, and a demonstrated passion for contributing to the field of cultural heritage.

Prospective candidates are invited to submit their applications through the official channels of Shanghai University by the 31st of May, 2024.
