We are pleased to announce the publication of the latest edition of Museum International entitled Open Edition: Reconstructions and Re-readings.
This new issue of Museum International addresses the diversity of issues, themes and actors shaping the international museum landscape today. It follows the journal’s primary vocation of fostering knowledge sharing and debate within the international museum community.
This new issue launches a series of Open Editions, which will be published intermittently to allow practitioners and researchers in the museum field to openly share their work without having to adapt their contributions to dedicated themes.
The articles in this issue reflect on some of the changes museums and museology have been going through in recent years, which has led to the re-reading and revisiting of museum models.
ICOM members can access the full online issue of Empty Museums free of charge through their member space on the ICOM website.
