Call for the ICOM Resolutions: Submit your Proposals for Resolutions before the deadline.
An ICOM Resolution serves as a formal mechanism through which ICOM expresses its collective stance on matters of global importance to the museum sectors. All ICOM Bodies —National Committees, International Committees, Regional Alliances, and Affiliated Organisations — are invited to actively participate in this important process by submitting their Proposals for Resolutions no later than Friday 21 February 2025, 23:59 (Paris time) via this form.
To ensure maximum impact, ICOM Bodies are encouraged to submit Proposals for Resolution that:
- Support the ICOM Strategic Plan 2022–2028, contributing to its key focus areas.
- Align with the overall theme of the 27th General Conference, “The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities”. This theme focuses on exploring the transformative role of museums in adapting to and shaping evolving societal dynamics and these sub-themes include:
-
- Intangible Heritage
- Youth Power
- New Technologies
