As a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ICOM Executive Board, during its online meeting on 31 March 2020, decided to postpone the date of submission of the applications.
The applications must be sent by email to the ICOM Secretariat at Conference@icom.museum before 30 September 2020 (00:00 Paris time: GMT+1).
Applications are exclusively open to active ICOM National Committees.
Active National Committees wishing to apply must fill in a questionnaire consisting of 90 questions on crucial aspects of the financial, operational and promotional organisation of the 27th ICOM General Conference. The application must be completed in one of the three ICOM statutory languages with the help and support of the Application Manual and the Appendixes.
Only complete applications in a PDF format submitted by the deadline will be accepted. Applicants will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of their application. Please note that the receipt of the application does not imply the admissibility of the application.
The questionnaire is currently now available in English, Spanish and French.
Please download here the latest version of the documents in addition to the Addendum, containing the reviewed deadline for the submission of the application. Minor typos have been revised on the English version.
The ICOM Secretariat is available should you have any further questions or require further assistance. Please send your requests to Francesca Pollicini, ICOM Events Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
