NetworkFurther extension of the deadline application to host the 27th ICOM General Conference in 2025

As a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ICOM Executive Board, during its online meeting on 18 September 2020, decided to postpone the date of submission of the applications.

 

NEW DEADLINE

The applications must be sent by email to the ICOM Secretariat at Conference@icom.museum before 15 February 2021 (00:00 Paris time: GMT+1).

Applications are exclusively open to active ICOM National Committees.

 

THE QUESTIONNAIRE

Active National Committees wishing to apply must fill in a questionnaire consisting of 90 questions on crucial aspects of the financial, operational and promotional organisation of the 27th ICOM General Conference. The application must be completed in one of the three ICOM statutory languages with the help and support of the Application Manual and the Appendixes.

Only complete applications in a PDF format submitted by the deadline will be accepted. Applicants will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of their application. Please note that the receipt of the application does not imply the admissibility of the application.

The 25th ICOM General Conference, held in Kyoto in September 2019 is the latest in a series of milestones of ICOM’s 74-year history, breaking all records with 4,590 participants from 120 countries and territories, 231 sessions and 1,476 speakers. The next ICOM General Conference will take place in Prague, Czech Republic.
